Silver Ridge Homestead is a small family homestead in Mendon, Utah. This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you visit www.silverridgehomestead.com. The short version: we don't collect much at all.
What this website collects today
Nothing you type in. The site has no accounts, no newsletter list, no contact form, and no checkout. You can browse the whole site without giving us your name or email.
Basic visit records kept by our web host. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel's servers automatically see the technical details needed to deliver a page to you: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, and your browser type. Vercel handles those records under its own privacy policy (https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy). We don't use them to track you or build a profile of you.
No cookies, analytics, or tracking. The site doesn't set cookies. We don't use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or "pixels" from Google, Facebook, or anyone else.
No embeds. The site doesn't embed maps, calendars, forms, or videos from other companies. Our fonts, photos, and videos load from our own site, so viewing a page doesn't quietly contact anyone else.
If you email or message us
If you write to us at silverridgehomestead@gmail.com or message us on our social media pages, we'll see whatever you choose to send, such as your name, your email address, and what you'd like to ask about. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange anything you ask about. We don't sell it or rent it. We share it only with service providers who help us run the homestead (such as Google for email and records), only so they can do that work, or when the law requires us to.
Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), and we keep notes about your inquiry in our Google account (for example, Google Sheets or Drive). Google stores this for us as our service provider, under its own privacy policy. Messages sent through social media are handled by those companies under their own policies.
How long we keep it. We keep inquiry emails and notes for about a year after we last hear from you, then delete them. If we sell you something in the future, we'll keep basic sale records as long as tax law requires.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to our social media pages or other websites. When you click away, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Children
This site is meant for adults. It isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, let us know and we'll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have from you (usually just the emails or messages you sent us), and ask us to correct or delete it. Just write to silverridgehomestead@gmail.com.
Changes
If we add a sign-up, a login, or anything else that collects information, we'll update this policy before that feature starts collecting anything, and we'll change the date above.
